The back open, the bow at the back

In most styles, the straps cross over your back and you tie them at the bottom into a bow. Along the way they wrap around your middle, forming a wide band that defines your waist. Below that, the skirt flares out wide to the floor. The fabric is soft and slightly stretchy and drapes without pulling tight.
