This women's bracelet consists of one continuous, flat snake chain that's shaped into a simple knot in the middle. There's nothing else to it: no charms, no stones, no logo. That's why it lies flat on your wrist and stays fine enough to disappear under a sleeve, while the knot gives just enough shape to stand out when you push your sleeve up.

The flat chain is what makes the difference. A round chain rolls around your wrist and only catches the light at one point; this one lies against your skin with its full width and catches the light along its whole length. How to wear it

This is a bracelet you put on and forget about. It sits under a blouse or a jumper, comes into view when you push up your sleeves, and goes just as well with joggers as with a dress. If you wear a watch, keep the bracelet on the same wrist right next to it, or on the other wrist for a calmer look. Silver combines easily with a white shirt and denim, gold looks warmer with camel, cream and black. Because the style is unisex, many couples wear it together, each in a different colour.

Colour and size

The bracelet comes in silver colour and gold colour. There's one size: the chain is 17 cm long and has a 3.5 cm extension chain attached, so you can adjust it between 17 and 20.5 cm. That covers almost every wrist size, from narrow and worn tight to looser around the wrist. If in doubt, measure your wrist with a tape measure and add half a centimetre for a comfortable fit.

Care

Stainless steel is an easy material to look after, but the flat chain shows fingerprints faster than a round one does. Rub the bracelet dry now and then with a soft cloth, and the shine comes straight back. Take it off before you go swimming or take a bath, and keep it away from perfume, hairspray and cleaning products: these settle on the chain and make it dull. Store it separately from other jewellery, so no scratches appear on the smooth surface.
