This transitional jacket for men is cut in the classic M65 style: a field jacket with a stand-up collar, four flap pockets on the front and a cord you can pull to adjust the waist. It's the jacket you reach for once it's too cool for just a jumper and too early for a winter coat. Straight, slightly roomy fit, hip length, with enough pockets to hold your hands, phone and keys. Available in army green and in black.

How to wear this field jacket

The green version is the classic look: worn open over a black hoodie or a grey jumper, with dark jeans or chinos and sturdy boots, exactly as shown in the photos. If you want something more understated, go for black: that version looks sleeker and also works over smart trousers. Pull the cord at the waist for a more fitted silhouette, or leave it loose for a relaxed, slightly wider drape. With the zip and storm flap closed and the collar up, the jacket keeps the wind out on a cold morning.

Size and fit

The jacket has a classic, straight fit and runs true to size. If you're unsure between two sizes, choose the larger one for extra room to wear a jumper underneath. Lay a jacket that fits well flat, measure it and compare the numbers with the chart.

Care
